Condolences

Condolence From: Hi Staten
Condolence: My heartfelt condolences to the Quigg family on the loss of Wilma. She was a devoted wife to Harold and a caring mother to four lovely daughters. For many years my late wife and I were associated with the Quigg family as we attended Splash Club swim meets, workouts, time trials and trips. The successes achieved by the girls, reflects the dedication and perseverance instilled in them by their parents. Wilma was a tireless worker at all of the girls events and volunteered wherever her services were needed to help them achieve their goals. Of the girls we knew Kay and Nancy best and what memorable moments come to mind from watching them perform. May the pain from losing Wilma fade into memories of a life well lived.

Condolence: To Nancy and the entire Quigg family: Our deepest sympathy to you all in the loss of a wonderful woman, mom, wife, grandmother. We did not know Wilma personally, but after reading all about her in the newspaper, we realized she was truly a special person - and a super Splash Club mom! We share in your loss and know she will be missed by everyone who new her.
Fondly, Jan and John Castelli

Condolence From: Suzie Zeiders
Condolence: Dear Nancy, Susan, Kay, and Mary,
How proud and grateful you must be having Wilma for your mother. She is an grand example of a "total woman" and someone to pattern our lives after. She maintained her independence to the end and I admire her for that. There was no doubt how much she loved her family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. If there is anything I can do please do not hesitate to call me anytime. Suzie Zeiders

Condolence From: Donna (Melton) Brashear
Condolence: To Nancy and all the Quigg family,
Your parents were the best. Your Mom always wore a smile and the words unflustered and patient come to mind. After reading she worked at JPH--I faintly remember her in a white "nurse-type" outfit. In elementary school I was in awe of your Dad because he worked at the Research Center and in my eyes the smartest people at Phillips worked there.
I remember going to your house when we were kids. We both loved to read and I thought the fact your bedroom was upstairs was the best ever.
A dear friend and I share our early lives and 3 weeks ago we took a slow drive around the old neighborhood and schools. As we passed your house, I spoke of you. It would be so good to see you but, unfortunately, my work schedule (10-2) prevents me from attending the services. Please know I am thinking of you and sending my deepest sympathy.
