Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261. Shirley Zagar, 76, passed away on January 22, 2018 at her home in Grove, Oklahoma. Shirley was born on September 3, 1941 in Argentine, Kansas. She was the daughter of Julius and Bertha (Diereckx) DeSeure. She worked at the courthouse in Girard, Kansas before moving to Grove, Oklahoma. In Grove, she worked at the Tag office, then managed the Zagar Decorating store. She recently retired from Wal-Mart.
Shirley is preceded in death by her father Julius DeSeure, her mother Bertha DeSeure, her brother Frank and Joe DeSeure. She is survived by her sister Dorothy DeGraeve of Kansas City, Kansas, daughter Linette and husband Ronald Burke of Tonganoxie, Kansas, son Jeff and wife Jeanie Zagar of Orlando, Oklahoma, and son Ronald Zagar of Grove, Oklahoma, two grandchildren, Kyler Zagar and Aubrey Zagar.
Visitation will be held 2:00 to 4:00, Sunday, January 28 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Maple Hill Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation 1:00 to 2:00, rosary and services 2:00 to 3:00.
