Virginia Margaret Noblitt, 83, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center. She was born November 23, 1933 in Delaware, Oklahoma to Guy and Mamie (Blevins) Wood. She attended Delaware Schools and on December 9, 1949 she married Walter Steven Noblitt in Bartlesville. Virginia worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas. Upon her retirement in 1984 she moved from Mulvane, Kansas to Nowata, Oklahoma. Virginia enjoyed fishing, painting, arts and crafts, flower gardening, and raising great tomato plants. Virginia was a very outgoing person and love helping other people. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Virginia will be missed by all who knew her.

Virginia is survived by two sons. Steven Noblitt and Jerry Noblitt, both of Nowata; one grandchild, Bobby Noblitt of Fort Wayne, Indiana and a great grandchild, Jade Noblitt. She is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Mamie Wood; six siblings, Juanita Duncan, Sarah Carter, Bonnie Folk, Doyle Wood, Jesse Wood, Anna Wood.
