Jewel Dean Zoski passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Mrs. Zoski was born June 28, 1937 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Jeff Lee Harris and Jewel Mae Moore.
In 1938 Jewel moved with her family to Bartlesville and completed her schooling at Lincoln elementary, Central Junior High School, and College High School. She married the love of her life Cecil D. Zoski on January 29, 1953 in Bentonville, Arkansas but lived their entire married lives in Bartlesville. Cecil was a self-employed building contractor and Jewel was a homemaker. Jewel was an avid cookbook collector with a passion for cooking and an earnest desire of becoming a chef. Jewel was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years on February 6, 1991.
She is survived by two daughters Cecilia Munkirs and husband Frank of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and Toni Cummins and husband Joe of Dewey, Oklahoma; son Mike and wife Myra of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; two sisters Mural Swan of Dewey , Oklahoma; and Freda Wills of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Mandy Murray and husband Adam of St. Charles, Missouri; Emily Cummins of Dewey, Oklahoma; Sarah Zoski of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and Christopher Zoski of Norman Oklahoma; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents , her sister Juanita Boothe, and brothers Leroy Harris, Joe Harris, and Robert Harris.
Pall bearers will include Frank Munkirs, Joe Cummins, Christopher Zoski, Adam Murray, Bill Looney, and Mike Hill.
Funeral services for Mrs. Zoski will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 14, 2008 in the Colonial Chapel inside the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Chaplain Roger Sheppard of the Cornerstone Hospice will be officiating. Funeral services are under the direction of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
