Obituary for Frederick Eugene "Freddy" Morrow

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222. Here, Here. A great man passed away Monday, June 4, 2018. Frederick (Freddy) Eugene Morrow of Eucha was born July 12, 1948 to Wiley and June Morrow in Aberdeen Washington.

The retired machinist was a member of the American Legion, Boys State 1965. He was Lance Corporal in the Marines spending 1 year, 6 moths, 28 days in the Vietnam Theater. His honors included; National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Rifle Marksmen Badge. Upon retirement he became Post Commander at the American Legion in Spavinaw for the past 5 years. He was promoted to District Manager of Northeastern Oklahoma American Legions. Freddy was selected in 2017 for the Cherokee Warrior Award. He was also the Vice President of the Tulsa Blues Society. Freddy loved Golf, Music, Cars, and was one hell of an American. He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by Wiley and June Morrow. He was engaged to Kelly Wilson. Freddie had two brothers, Terry J. Morrow and Woodrow Morrow; sons John F. Morrow and Dustin K. Morrow, step sons: Aaron and Adam Gamrick. Grandchildren including Ty Morrow, Tabitha Morrow, Cody Morrow, Natalie Morrow, Mason Morrow, Hayden Morrow.

Freddy will be laid to rest at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Old Eucha Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay. Online condolences can be made by viewing Freddy’s Book of Memories at www.honoringmemories.com
