Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita, 918-256-5555........... Jack Lee went home to be with his Lord Friday May 4, 2018. Jack was a well known businessman in Vinita, Oklahoma. He was born October 23, 1936 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Josh Kenneth Lee and Lucy (Blood) Lee. He was raised on the family farm near Bluejacket and graduated in 1955 from Bluejacket High School. After high school, Jack joined the United States navy and later earned an accounting degree from Northeastern State University.
On August 13, 1964 Jack married the love of his life Dolores Lee, they spent 53 years together. Jack was an entrepreneur, owning and operating many businesses over his lifetime. One of his proudest was the founding of radio station KGND 107.5 FM in 1989. Most recently Jack worked with his wife Dolores as co-owners of Lee Properties and Store All Mini Storages in Vinita. Nothing made Jack happier that taking care of his family, building his businesses, and drinking coffee with his friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife Delores; his parents; and his brothers and sisters, Luvina Siler, Robert E Lee, Jeneva Sharp, Luden Lee, Virginia Siler, Fayetta Chalk, Josh Kinnith Lee, and Jerome Lee.
Jack is survived by a son, Josh D. Lee and wife Jacki Lee; he will be missed by his many friends who loved to talk business and drink coffee with Jack over the years.
A celebration and remembrance of Jack’s life will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Cowboy Junction Church in Vinita, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made to the Cowboy Junction Church or the Cowboy Junction School.
