Deylon Eli Kuehn, 14, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at his home in Childers, Oklahoma. He was born March 3, 2004 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Melvin Matthews and Jelaina Kuehn. Deylon was an 8th grader at Oklahoma Union Public Schools. He loved track, football, hunting, fishing, camping, and drawing. His plan was to graduate from Oklahoma Union, then move in with his Uncle Matt and become a welder like his Uncle Chris. He was an outstanding young man who could light up a room with his smile. He loved God, his family, and friends. He was caring, compassionate, loving, creative, and so helpful. He had such a good spirit and would do anything he could to help someone.

Deylon is survived by his parents: Melvin and wife Valerie of Broken Arrow, OK and Jelaina and fiancée Tony Strickland of Coffeyville, KS; Grandparents: Donnie and Cindy Kuehn of Childers, Oklahoma, Linda and Roger Cornett of Skiatook, OK, Jeanette & Ralph Ching of Broken Arrow, OK; great-grandparent: Gloria Kuehn of South Coffeyville, OK, Bonnie Guiltner of Wichita; siblings, Desmon, Danae, Deshon, Deyonna, Mykal, Tayden, Joshuwa, Kambrie, Kennedy, Rickey, Eli, Malkai, Danielle; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Vernon Kuehn and Gladys and James Matthews, Troy Guiltner of Wichita, Kansas, and one grandparent, Melvin (Charles) Matthews Sr. of Tulsa, OK
