Obituary for Sandra Ann Hawkins

Worley-Lginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma, 918-253-3222. God has called another angel home. Sandra Ann Hawkins, 56, has gone to be with the Lord. She was called home on December 1, 2018 at 6:15 am, at the Grove Nursing Center in Grove, Oklahoma. Sandra known to many as “Sam” was born on December 20, 1961 in Gravette, Arkansas.

Sandra was a beautiful and special person, who touched everyone’s life in some way. She was well loved and will be missed by all. She loved going to church, singing and looking at her picture books, drawing and coloring. She was special in each and everyway. She made everyone laugh and smile even on the darkest of days. She always had special names for those closest to her. Sam liked watching westerns with cute cowboys on television.
Sandra was the beloved daughter of L.E. and Mabel Hawkins of Jay, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving sister Barbara Chopper. She is survived by her six sisters: Caroliene West of Gentry, Arkansas, Wanda Burnett (David) of Jay, Oklahoma, Jean Key (John) of Jay, Oklahoma, Cathy Hughes of Jay, Oklahoma, Ireliene Wright (Ace) of Grove, Oklahoma and Reba Blackmore (Kim) of Grove, Oklahoma, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 5, 2018 both at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home chapel in Jay, Oklahoma with Mr. Larry Hendren and Mr. Conley Chesney officiating. Sandra will be laid to rest in the Mount Hermon Cemetery.
