Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita, OK (918) 256-5555........Buddy “Bud” Philander Fleming passed from this life Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the Claremore Veterans Center in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was born March 30, 1932 in Vinita, Oklahoma to Marshall P. and Amanda Ophelia (Woolman) Fleming. He served in the United States Navy and was a welder working at several different shops before going to work for American Airlines. On November 3, 1955 he married the love of his life, Sallye Jones in Columbus, Kansas. Bud was a very hard worker and enjoyed the Rodeo. He was a member of the Senior Pro Rodeo Association and loved to rope. He loved his family and was a friend to all. Bud will be missed by all who knew him.
Preceding Mr. Fleming in death are his parents Marshall and Amanda Fleming, his wife Sallye, and a sister Betty Collins.
Survivors include his children, Cooweesta Kirkland and husband Mike of Skiatook, OK, Sallye Williams and husband Ralph of Skiatook, OK, Mark Fleming and wife Lori of Collinsville, OK; seven grandchildren, Mica Pattillo, Cole Williams, Cooweesta Williams, Buddy Fleming, Tyler Nair, Jono Nair, and Connor Nair; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Wayne, Jerry, and Curt Collins; along with many other relatives and a host of friends.
