Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261. Herbert Wesley Roach, 84 year old Grove resident, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018. Herbert was born in Hickory Ridge, AR on July 3, 1934 to William Kelly Roach and Jewel (Ramsey) Roach. He was united in marriage to Rosemary Goddard on July 17, 1956. Herbert served in the United States Air Force working as a Dental Tech from 1952-1973. He ran a saw mill from 1973-1988. His final job before retirement was with the Postal Service for 15 years. Herbert enjoyed doing lapidary work, wood working, making pens, and fishing. He was a devout Christian and member of the First United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir.
Survivors include his daughters Brittany Roche and Janet Roach of Rolla, MO and one brother William Kelly Roach, Jr. of Russellville, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Rosemary Roach, son Stephen Roach, and siblings: Vernon Roach, George Roach, Violet Roach, and Jesse Lynn Lierly.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Grove. Interment will follow at Noel Cemetery in Noel, MO.
