Obituary for Iva June Harrison (Reeves)

BENJAMIN FUNERAL SERVICE NOWATA, OKLAHOMA 918-273-2700...............

Iva June Harrison, 62, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at her residence in Nowata, Oklahoma.

She was born April 19, 1956 to Ivan Dean Reeves and Nancy J. Reeves (Black) in Nowata, Oklahoma. She received her education from Nowata School District, where she was a graduate of the Class of 1974. On May 25, 1984, she married the love of her life, Clifford V. Harrison, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She was a Financial Advisor for Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas, where she received Employee of the Month in 2004. She was always doing something whether it was working at her job, around the house, rescuing all kinds of animals or riding horses. She loved her family unconditionally and made sure they were always taken care of. Every year she planned a family vacation and there wasn’t anything that was more important to her than her family. She would always put others first before herself. She never met a stranger, and if you were her friend then you were considered part of the family. She held a special place in her heart for her family, friends and animals and will be missed by all who knew her.

Iva is survived by her husband, Cliff V. Harrison of the home, one son, Todd Harrison of
Nowata, Oklahoma; her Mother Nancy J. Reeves (Black) of Nowata, Oklahoma; one Sister, Tammy Hunt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and a niece, Lindsey Hunt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as well a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Ivan Dean Reeves.
