Billy Jack Haire, 85 year old Vinita resident, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018. Billy was born in Welch, OK on December 7, 1932 to Claude and Grace (Shaw) Haire. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On March 31, 1956 he was united in marriage to Beverly Seigel and together they raised 4 children. Billy worked for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for 33 years. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon since 1995 as well as an elder and Sunday school teacher. Billy was a man of God who loved helping others and studying the Bible. He also loved to fish and his family was never without fish in the freezer.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Beverly Haire of the home, children: Judy Moore of Wann, Janice Perkins and husband Donald of Wann, and Randy Haire and wife Carolyn of Stratford, MO, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son David Haire, siblings: LeRoy Haire, Dale Haire, Imogene Mills, and Mary Jane Rapp, and grandsons Kevin Song and Steven Lawhorn.

Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 19,2018 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastors Ken Farris and Freddy Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
