Obituary for Jerry David Kropff

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Jerry David Kropff, 76, passed away on February 21, 2018 at his residence in Afton, Oklahoma.

Jerry was born on October 1, 1941 in Jane, Missouri. He was the son of David Leon Kropff and Leona “Cooper” Bowling. Jerry proudly served in the United States Army. He and his lovely bride, Madaline Christine “Bryant” Kropff celebrated 45 years of marriage just last June. Jerry was an entrepreneur in construction development to include; Jerry’s Dock Construction and South Winds Marina. He was a private pilot, President of the Grand Lake Divers Association, and a Field Tester for both Zebco. Jerry was an avid fisherman, and fished everyday until his health no longer allowed. Jerry was a member of the Bernice Baptist Church.

Jerry will be united in heaven with his parents David Kropff and Leona Bowling, and grandparents; John and Laura Kropff and Earl and Jewel Cooper. He leaves behind his wife Madaline Kropff of the home, his son Jason Kropff (Christi) of Claremore, Oklahoma, daughter Laura Stone (Neil) of Verdigris, Oklahoma, two sisters; Linda Gregory (William) of Grove, Oklahoma and Betty Wilmoth (Stanley) of Fairland, Oklahoma. Jerry was blessed with five grandchildren; Blake Stone, Britani Stone, Madyson Kropff, Nicole Shellhorse and Breanna Shellhorse.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2-4 PM, Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. Memorial services will be held at 11 am, Monday, February 26, 2018 at Grove’s First Baptist with Pastor Dean Williams officiating.
