Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita, OK 918-256-5555.........John Dee Shaw, 78 years old, went to meet his Lord on February 21, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elma and Rudolph “Red” Tucker, John P. “Jack” and Jo Shaw; and a daughter, Christinea Shaw; in-laws, Ivan and Donna Boevers, and Benny Boevers. John was born on March 17, 1939, in Weir, Kansas. He loved to hunt, fish and show antique cars. John also enjoyed spending time with his family, which he loved dearly.
John’s memory will live on in those who survived him. Wife of 29 years, Janet Shaw; his children, Teresa and David Mercer, John and Josie Shaw, Belinda and John Jasmin, Jessie Russell, and Jason Dobbs; sisters Jacqueline Carpino and Saundra Stricklin; extended family, Pierre and Gail DeShaw, Pat and Mona Hutchinson, Jason and Kim Hutchinson; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and two more great grandchildren on the way.
John owned many businesses, and worked eighteen years at B.F. Goodrich, in Miami, Oklahoma. He will be missed by those whose lives he has touched in so many ways. Whether through acts of kindness or his quick wit and humor.
