Obituary for Beverly Joan Roberts (Boatright)
Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261 Beverly Joan Roberts, 81 year old resident of Grove, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 19, 2018.
Beverly was born on August 5, 1936 in Wagoner, OK. She was the loving daughter of William D. and Omah (Carter) Boatright. She was united in marriage to David Roberts on April 18, 1958 in Bluejacket, Oklahoma. Beverly has worked many years for the old Bank of Grove now known as the Bank of Oklahoma. She was known for having a “green thumb”. Beverly always had the prettiest flowers and plants. She also enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandbabies. Beverly was a 50 year member of Grove’s First Baptist Church and was still very active until her health declined.
Beverly will be united in heaven with her parents William and Omah Boatright, her husband David Roberts, and her brother William Nathan Boatright. She leaves behind her two children; David Roberts and his wife Becky of Grove, Oklahoma and Kimberly Dunn and her husband Michael of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Beverly was blessed with five grandchildren; Cole Roberts and his wife Brett of Nashville, TN, Kelsie Nguyen and husband Jason of Houston, TX, Brittany Evans and husband Colton of Broken Arrow, OK, Grant Roberts and wife Brittany of Edmond, OK and Taylor Walker and husband Ryan of Broken Arrow, OK. Beverly adored her six great grandchildren; Chrissy Nguyen, Kinlee Evans, Chandler Evans, Ashton and Brantley Walker and Lydia Roberts.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-7PM, Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, February 23, 2018 at Grove’s First Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Paslay officiating. Beverly will be laid to rest beside her husband in Council House Cemetery.
