Benjamin Funeral Service, Nowata, Ok. (918) 273-2700***Roger Wells Dermont passed away at his home in Wann, Oklahoma on February 4, 2018. He was born March 24, 1933 in Crystal Lake, IL. to Arthur and Gwendolyn (Carpenter) Dermont. Roger was a 1951 graduate of Woodstock Schools. He worked for 10 years as a District Sales Manager for Rockford Register Star. Roger was a member of the United States Air Force where he received the National Defense Medal along with the Good Conduct Medal. Roger was a member of the Moose Lodge, VFW, Navy Club and the American Legion. Ten years ago Roger married Mary Christine Wycoff. Roger was a member of the United Methodist Church in Woodstock, IL. He held a special place in his heart for all his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding Roger in death are his parents, Arthur and Gwendolyn Dermont and a son, Nicholas Dermont.

He is survived by his spouse of the home Mary Chrisine Dermont, three children, Tammy Thornton and husband Tim of Bartlesville, Ok., Mike Dermont of Lenapah, Ok., and Tony Dermont of Bartlesville, Ok; Two Grandchildren, Lindsay Howerton and husband Corey of Nowata, Ok., Rachel Floyd and husband Lucas of Nowata, Ok; Two great grandchildren, Hayden Howerton and Rylee Howerton; Many other relatives and a host of friends.
